My musical influences stem from unorthodox sources: Tower of Power; Earth, Wind, and Fire; West Coast rap; and Yacht Rock—but I’m inspired by all music. While my repertoire has spanned from Bach to Debussy, and commissions from today's composers, I enjoy performing works from the classical canon that showcase the lyrical, the light-hearted, and the gritty.

As a concerti soloist, I’ve enjoyed collaborating with the Connecticut Valley Chamber Orchestra, the Hamden Symphony Orchestra (Connecticut), the Hudson Valley Chamber Winds (New York), The Hartt School Wind Ensemble, The Hartt Symphony Orchestra, the University of California (Davis) Symphony Orchestra, the University of California (Davis) Wind Ensemble, and the James Logan High School Wind Symphony (California).

As a chamber musician, I have performed over 200 performances in the New England area, in 19 states, and four countries (Iceland, Japan, Italy, Serbia). I am currently one-half of the Prometheus Duo, alongside pianist Marko Stuparevic. I’ve also had the pleasure of being the soprano saxophonist of the Asylum Quartet from 2012-2016, a professional saxophone quartet based in the Greater Hartford Area (Connecticut), and the in-house saxophonist of the Hartford Independent Chamber Orchestra.

As a private music educator for 20 years, I’ve given masterclasses on the elementary through college levels, with a number of my students earning regional honors. Previously, I have served as saxophone faculty at the Hartt School Community Division, and managed studios in Connecticut, Arizona, and California.

As a student, I've studied saxophone with Dr. Keith Bohm (Bachelor’s of Music, University of California, Davis), Professor Michael Hester (Master’s of Music, Arizona State University), Dr. Timothy McAllister (Master’s of Music, Arizona State University), and Professor Carrie Koffman (Artist Diploma, The Hartt School).

I’m also an endorsed ambassador for Forestone Reeds and Nuvo Instrumental, sharing their commitments to musical freedom and empowerment.
